Oh my gosh, I knew the day would come where I’d have to write this blog post, but I almost dreaded it.

in fact, I pretended this day wasn’t going to happen so much that I forgot to order everything for her birthday party till the week of. Talk about denial.

Bellamy is our last baby. She’s our rainbow baby. Both me, her dad, and her brothers are obsessed with her. So, we knew we had to do something special.

while we did smash cakes with the boys, I wasn’t exactly a professional photographer when they were little, let alone a good one like now. So I knew I had to go all out for this one. We had cake EVERYWHERE. It’s still everywhere. It will always be everywhere honestly.

It was so fun. The boys even got in on it with her. She was throwing strawberries at them, they were chucking them back, she was feeding them, they were gladly accepting all pieces of cake they could get. And best of all, Landry was teaching her how to smash her whole head in the cake and she happily obliged at the very end.

I loved doing this smash cake. I’d honestly do a hundred of these. Babies love smashing stuff and I love their reaction to the cake! But this one was so special because I got to have one of my babies in front of my camera.
